Possible Causes
Steam condensing on cool surfaces, High-moisture foods releasing water, Unit placed in a cool environment causing more condensation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Use caution when handling hot condensate; it can cause burns.
Steps to manage condensation:
- Recognize normal behavior: Some condensation around the exhaust vents or under the unit is normal when cooking high-moisture foods.
- Improve ventilation: Ensure adequate airflow around the fryer to help moisture dissipate.
- Use a drip tray: Place a heat-resistant mat or tray under the fryer to catch any drips.
- Check for cracks: If you suspect actual water leakage from inside the unit (not just condensation), inspect the pan and interior for cracks and replace damaged parts.
Note: Persistent pooling of water inside the electronics area is not normal and requires inspection for cracks or seal failures.
