Possible Causes

Stuck or shorted touch key on control panel, Moisture under touch membrane, Damaged keypad ribbon cable, Failed touch controller IC on display board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the air fryer before cleaning or opening the control panel.

Steps to troubleshoot E10:

  • Clean the panel: Wipe the touch panel with a slightly damp, non-abrasive cloth to remove grease and residue. Dry thoroughly. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
  • Dry out moisture: If the panel was recently cleaned heavily, leave the unit unplugged for several hours to allow any moisture behind the membrane to evaporate.
  • Check for stuck keys: Plug in and observe if any button appears constantly active (e.g., continuous beeping or auto-selecting a function). If so, the membrane may be damaged.
  • Inspect ribbon cable: With the unit unplugged and front/bottom cover removed, locate the ribbon cable from the touch panel to the control board. Ensure it is fully inserted and not torn.
  • Replace the touch panel: If keys remain unresponsive or stuck, replace the complete Farberware touch control panel or display/keypad assembly as a unit.

Note: Do not puncture or peel the touch membrane; this will permanently damage the keypad.
