Air fryer basket is difficult to insert or remove; may not click into place

Safety: Allow the unit to cool before forcing the basket in or out to avoid burns.

• Step 1 – Inspect for debris: Remove the basket and drawer and clean the side rails and bottom of the cavity. Remove any burnt food pieces or grease buildup.
• Step 2 – Check for warping: Place the basket and drawer on a flat surface to see if they rock or appear twisted. Replace warped components.
• Step 3 – Examine rails: Look inside the cavity for bent metal rails or guides. Gently straighten minor bends with pliers, taking care not to crack the enamel.
• Step 4 – Latch mechanism: Inspect the latch and any plastic guides on the drawer for cracks or missing pieces. Replace the drawer assembly if the latch is damaged.
• Step 5 – Test insertion: After cleaning and adjustments, slide the drawer in and out several times to confirm smooth operation.
