Air fryer door or drawer does not stay closed during cooking

Burn Hazard: A door or drawer that opens during cooking can release hot air and cause burns. Do not operate until corrected.

• Step 1 – Inspect latch: Examine the latch on the drawer and the catch in the housing for cracks or missing pieces.
• Step 2 – Clean contact areas: Remove grease and food debris from the latch and surrounding surfaces.
• Step 3 – Check drawer alignment: Ensure the drawer slides straight on the rails and is not warped. Replace if deformed.
• Step 4 – Replace latch components: If the latch or spring is broken, replace the drawer assembly or latch kit as specified by Frigidaire.
