E9 error displays and the unit will not respond to any button presses

Shock Risk: Unplug the air fryer before removing any covers. Do not attempt to repair the control board at component level unless you are qualified.

• Step 1 – Verify outlet and cord: Confirm the outlet has power and the cord is intact. If other appliances work on the same outlet, proceed.
• Step 2 – Hard reset: Unplug the unit for at least 15 minutes. Plug back in and check if E9 clears. If not, the board is likely damaged.
• Step 3 – Inspect control board: Remove the housing to access the main control PCB. Look for burnt components, cracked solder joints, or signs of arcing.

• Step 5 – Replace board: If visible damage is present or E9 persists after reseating connectors, replace the main control board with the correct Frigidaire part number.
• Surge protection: After replacement, consider using a surge protector to reduce the risk of future board failures.
