Safety: Allow the unit to cool before cleaning. Do not immerse the main body in water.
- Step 1 – Deep clean: Remove the basket, drawer, and accessories. Wash them with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Step 2 – Clean interior: Wipe the inside walls, heater area, and fan guard with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive pads.
- Step 3 – Deodorize: Run the air fryer empty at 400°F (or highest setting) for 10–15 minutes to burn off residual odors. Ensure good kitchen ventilation.
- Step 4 – Avoid harsh chemicals: Do not use oven cleaners or strong solvents inside the air fryer, as they can leave persistent odors.
- Step 5 – Repeat if needed: For stubborn smells, repeat the cleaning and burn‑in cycle.
