How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the unit to cool fully before inspection. Unplug from mains.
- Ventilation: Ensure at least 10 cm clearance around all sides and that rear vents are not blocked by walls or objects.
- Fan performance: Confirm the fan starts immediately and runs strongly. If weak or intermittent, inspect and replace the convection fan motor.
- Thermal cut-out: Locate the thermal cut-out / thermostat and check for signs of repeated tripping (discoloration). Replace if it trips at too low a temperature.
- PCB cooling: Ensure no dust buildup on the main PCB and that any heat sinks are firmly attached.
- Usage conditions: Avoid operating the fryer in enclosed cabinets or near other heat sources.
