How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not repeatedly reset the breaker. Unplug the unit and keep it unplugged until the fault is found. Risk of electric shock.
- Drying: If the unit was recently cleaned with excessive water, allow it to dry for 24–48 hours in a warm, dry environment.
- Inspect cord: Check the power cord for cuts or crushed sections. Replace if any damage is found.
- Internal wiring: Open the housing and inspect for wires pinched between panels or contacting sharp metal edges. Re-route and secure with cable ties.
- Heater insulation: Test resistance between each heater terminal and chassis with a megohmmeter if available. Low resistance indicates a leaking heater that must be replaced.
- Line filter: Inspect the EMI line filter module for cracks or burn marks. Replace if faulty.
