Possible Causes
Partially blocked air outlets, Fan speed too low, Warped basket or tray affecting airflow, Heater partially failing, Temperature sensor mispositioned
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before internal inspection.
- Loading technique: Avoid overfilling the basket. Shake or turn food halfway through cooking for more even results.
- Clean air paths: Clean the exhaust vents and heater guard to remove grease and debris that may redirect airflow.
- Fan speed: Listen for the fan; if it sounds slow, test and replace the convection fan motor if necessary.
- Basket/tray condition: Replace a warped or damaged frying basket or crisper tray that may be blocking airflow.
- Sensor position: Ensure the NTC temperature sensor is correctly clipped in its bracket and not bent away from the airflow path.
