Display lights up but air fryer will not start when pressing the Start button.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before accessing the control panel or internal switches.

Steps to troubleshoot:

• 1. Confirm basket is fully inserted: Many Granitestone air fryers will not start unless the basket is fully seated. Remove and firmly reinsert the basket/drawer.
• 2. Try different modes: Attempt to start using a manual time/temperature setting and a preset. If none start, the Start key or safety switch may be at fault.
• 3. Check door/basket switch: Access the door/basket microswitch and verify it clicks when the drawer is inserted. Replace if defective.
• 4. Inspect touch panel connection: Remove the front/top cover and reseat the touch panel ribbon cable on the control PCB.
• 5. Panel replacement: If only the Start button is unresponsive while others work, replace the touch control panel assembly.
