• 1. Inspect for debris: Remove the basket and look up at the fan blade and guard. Remove any visible debris with a non-metallic tool.
• 2. Check fan blade tightness: Access the fan from inside the housing. Ensure the blade is firmly attached to the motor shaft; tighten any retaining nut or screw if present.
• 3. Straighten guard: If the fan guard is bent and touching the blades, gently bend it back into shape.
• 4. Replace noisy motor: If noise persists and the motor feels rough when spun by hand, replace the convection fan motor assembly.
