How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before opening the control area.
Steps to restore buzzer:
- 1. Check settings: Some models allow muting of sounds. Consult the Granitestone manual to ensure sound is not disabled.
- 2. Locate buzzer: Open the housing and find the small round piezo buzzer on the control PCB.
- 3. Inspect and test: Ensure it is firmly soldered and not physically damaged. If you have a meter, you can test for voltage at the buzzer terminals at end of cycle.
- 4. Replace buzzer or PCB: If the buzzer is open or damaged, replace it, or replace the main control PCB if the driver circuit is faulty.
