• 4. Look for cracked solder joints: On the control board, inspect the solder around large components (relays, connectors). Cracks can cause intermittent loss of power. Reflowing solder is an advanced repair and may be better handled by a technician.
• 5. Check for overheating: If the unit shuts off only after extended use, ensure vents are clear and the fan is running properly. Overheating can trip internal thermostats.
• 6. Replace suspect parts: Replace the basket/door microswitch if tapping the area causes shutoff. Replace the control board if intermittent power is traced to board faults.
