Possible Causes
Drifted or faulty NTC sensor, Stuck heater relay on main PCB, Miscalibrated thermostat circuit, Sensor not properly attached to cavity
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool. Overheating can pose a fire risk; do not leave the appliance unattended.
- Verify with thermometer: Place an oven thermometer in the basket and run the unit at a low set temperature. If actual temperature is much higher, regulation is faulty.
- Inspect sensor: Access the NTC sensor and ensure it is firmly mounted and not covered in thick grease. Clean the area gently.
- Replace sensor if suspect: If the sensor resistance does not match expected values at room temperature, replace it.
- Check relay operation: Listen for the heater relay clicking on and off during operation. If it stays on continuously, the relay may be stuck and the main PCB should be replaced.
- Do not use until fixed: Continued use with overheating can be dangerous. If you cannot correct the issue, contact a technician.
