Possible Causes
Unresponsive touch panel, Faulty Start button contact, Basket not detected by safety switch, Firmware lock or child lock mode active
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before opening the control panel.
- Check user settings: Ensure any child lock or safety lock feature is disabled according to the user manual. Confirm the timer and temperature are set.
- Verify basket insertion: Fully insert the basket/drawer until it clicks. The unit will not start if the safety switch is not engaged.
- Test Start button: If other buttons respond but Start does not, the touch panel or button contact may be faulty. Access the control panel and inspect for cracks or liquid damage.
- Inspect basket switch: Locate the basket microswitch and test it with a multimeter for continuity when the drawer is inserted. Replace if defective.
- Replace touch PCB if needed: If the Start button area is unresponsive and the ribbon cable is intact, replace the touch control PCB.
