• Remove and inspect: Carefully remove the drawer and basket. Inspect the side rails and bottom guides for food debris or burnt residue.
• Clean tracks: Wipe the tracks and guides with a damp cloth. Remove any hardened grease or crumbs.
• Check for warping: Place the drawer on a flat surface to see if it rocks or appears twisted. Replace if significantly warped.
• Inspect cabinet guides: Look inside the cavity for bent metal guides. Gently straighten minor bends with pliers.
• Do not force: Forcing a misaligned drawer can damage the basket switch actuator. If alignment cannot be restored, replace the drawer assembly.
