Possible Causes
Shorted heating element, Shorted fan motor, Damaged wiring harness contacting chassis, Faulty triac or power device on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the air fryer immediately. Do not continue to reset and run the unit, as this may pose a fire or shock hazard.
- Visual inspection: Remove the outer cover and inspect the heater, fan motor, and wiring harness for burn marks, melted insulation, or obvious shorts to the metal chassis.
- Test heater and fan: With a multimeter, measure resistance of the heating element and fan motor. A reading near 0 Ω indicates a short. Replace any shorted component.
- Check harness routing: Ensure wires are secured away from sharp edges and hot surfaces. Replace any damaged sections with high-temperature wire and proper connectors.
- Inspect main PCB: Look for burnt components in the power section. If present, the main PCB must be replaced.
- Do not bypass protection: Never bypass fuses or safety devices to clear this error. If you cannot identify the fault, contact a qualified technician.
