Possible Causes
Faulty internal SMPS power board, Loose AC input connector, Damaged power cord, Overvoltage or undervoltage protection triggered on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the air fryer. Do not attempt live-voltage testing unless you are trained and equipped for mains electrical work.
- Check outlet and cord: Test the wall outlet with another appliance to confirm proper voltage. Inspect the Hisense air fryer power cord for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Inspect AC input connections: Remove the rear or bottom cover to access the AC input terminals and power supply section. Ensure the cord strain relief is intact and the connectors are tight.
- Look for visible damage: On the power supply section of the main PCB, check for bulged capacitors, burnt components, or cracked solder joints. Any such damage indicates the board should be replaced, not repaired by an untrained user.
- Try a different outlet: Plug the unit into a known-good outlet without extension cords or power strips to rule out external voltage issues.
- Persistent E7: If the error remains and the cord and outlet are good, the internal power supply on the main control PCB is likely faulty. Replace the main control PCB or contact a qualified technician.
