Possible Causes
Moisture under touch panel, Damaged touch PCB, Loose ribbon cable, Electrostatic discharge damage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before opening the control panel.
- Clean surface: Wipe the touch panel with a dry, soft cloth to remove grease and moisture. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
- Dry out moisture: If the panel was exposed to steam or spills, leave the unit unplugged in a dry area for several hours.
- Inspect internal connections: Remove the control panel and reseat the ribbon cable between the touch PCB and main PCB.
- Check for damage: Look for cracks in the touch panel or corrosion on the PCB. Replace the touch control PCB if damaged.
- Test after reassembly: Plug in and test all buttons. If still intermittent, the touch PCB or main PCB may need replacement.
