Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before touching internal components.

Power reset: Unplug for 10–15 minutes, then plug back in. Many transient control errors clear after a full reset.
Check keypad: Inspect the control panel for stuck or damaged buttons. Wipe away grease or residue with a slightly damp cloth. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
Moisture check: If the panel was recently cleaned with liquid, allow the unit to dry for 24 hours in a warm, dry area before retesting.
Advanced inspection: Remove the housing to access the display/keyboard board and the main control board. Check the ribbon cable or harness between them for loose connections or corrosion. Reseat connectors.
Board diagnosis: If the error persists, either the keypad/display board or the main control board may be faulty. On many Instant Pot air fryers, these are replaced as separate modules; replace the suspected board.

If the unit is under warranty, contact Instant Brands support before opening the housing.
