Display shows E1 and cooking will not start or stops shortly after starting.

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before any inspection. Never work on the unit while it is connected to power.

• Power reset: Unplug the air fryer for 10–15 minutes, then plug it back in and try a short cook cycle. Sometimes E1 is triggered by a transient fault.
• Check sensor connector: Remove the basket and drawer. Inspect the cavity ceiling and rear area for a visible temperature sensor probe (small metal or stainless bulb). If accessible, gently wiggle the harness to ensure it is not loose. Do not pull hard on the wires.
• Inspect for damage: If you can safely remove the outer housing (only if comfortable and out of warranty), check the wiring from the NTC sensor to the main control board for burns, cuts, or broken insulation.
• Clean around sensor: Heavy grease buildup around the sensor can cause overheating and sensor failure. Wipe the area with a soft cloth and mild degreaser; avoid soaking the sensor.
• Replace sensor assembly: If the wiring is intact but E1 persists, the NTC temperature sensor assembly is likely open and must be replaced with a compatible Instant air fryer sensor harness.
• Control board check: If a new sensor does not clear E1, the main control board’s sensor input circuit may be defective and the board should be replaced by a qualified technician.
