Display shows E5 and the air fryer will not start or stops shortly after starting.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before inspecting the cord or outlet. Do not open the control board area unless you are qualified.

• Verify outlet: Confirm you are using a properly grounded outlet with the correct voltage (typically 120V in North America, 220–240V in many other regions). Avoid extension cords and power strips.
• Check cord and plug: Inspect the Instant air fryer’s power cord for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Ensure the plug fits snugly in the outlet.
• Try another outlet: Plug the unit into a different known-good outlet on a separate circuit to rule out house wiring issues.
• Power reset: Leave the unit unplugged for 15 minutes, then reconnect and test.
• Internal inspection (advanced): If comfortable and out of warranty, remove the housing to inspect the line filter, MOV surge suppressor, and power supply section on the main board for burn marks or bulging components.
• Replace main control board: If the supply components are damaged or E5 persists despite a good outlet and cord, the main control board assembly should be replaced.
