Display shows TURN FOOD or a shake icon mid-cycle; user believes the unit is malfunctioning.

Note: This is a normal reminder to shake or turn food for even cooking.

• Respond to reminder: When TURN FOOD appears, pull out the basket, shake or flip the food, then reinsert the basket to resume cooking.
• Disable reminder: If your Instant model allows, turn off the shake/turn reminder in the settings menu.
• Do not unplug: There is no need to reset the unit; this is not an error condition.
