Possible Causes

Contaminated touch panel, Cracked keypad PCB, Loose control panel connector, Faulty capacitive touch controller

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before working on the control panel. Do not use excessive liquid cleaners on the panel.

Steps to troubleshoot unresponsive controls:

  • Clean the panel: Wipe the control surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove grease and residue. Dry thoroughly.
  • Power reset: Unplug for 10 minutes, then plug back in and test. Some touch controllers can lock up and need a full reset.
  • Access keypad PCB: Remove the front or top cover to reach the touch control PCB. Inspect for cracks, especially around mounting points.
  • Check connectors: Reseat the cable between the keypad PCB and the main control board.
  • Replace keypad PCB: If certain buttons never work or the panel is physically damaged, replace the Kalorik touch control PCB / keypad board.
  • Main board replacement: If a new keypad does not resolve the issue, the main control PCB may have a defective touch controller and should be replaced.

After reassembly, verify that all buttons respond correctly before regular use.
