Possible Causes

Open heating element, Burned heater terminals, Loose heater wiring, Failed heater relay on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and let it cool completely. The heating element and surrounding metal can remain hot for a long time.

Steps to address E7:

  • Visual inspection: Remove the basket and drawer. Look up at the heating element. Check for visible breaks, warping, or burn spots on the element coil.
  • Access heater connections: Remove the bottom cover and, if needed, the rear/top housing to access the heater terminals. Inspect for burnt connectors, loose spade terminals, or melted insulation.
  • Tighten or replace terminals: If terminals are loose, remove, clean with a small wire brush, and reattach firmly. Replace any severely discolored or melted connectors with high-temperature-rated terminals.
  • Test heating element: Disconnect at least one heater lead and measure resistance across the element with a multimeter. A typical air fryer heater may read between 10–40Ω. If it reads open (infinite), the element is failed.
  • Replace heating element: Order a compatible Kalorik heating element assembly for your model. Remove mounting screws or brackets, transfer any thermal sensors or shields, and install the new element in the same position.
  • Check heater relay: If the element tests good but never heats, the heater relay or triac on the control PCB may be defective. Inspect for burnt spots and replace the control board assembly if necessary.

After repair, run a short test cycle and verify that the unit heats evenly without tripping the error.
