Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse,Faulty power cord,Failed main control board power supply,Loose power inlet connections
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before any disassembly. If you are not comfortable working with mains voltage, contact a technician.
- Check outlet: Test the wall outlet with another appliance to confirm it has power.
- Inspect power cord: Look for visible damage. Gently wiggle the cord at the plug and at the unit while watching for any flicker (if the unit briefly powers, the cord or inlet is suspect).
- Access internal fuse: Remove the rear or bottom cover to locate the inline fuse or fuse on the line filter board. Test with a multimeter for continuity. Replace only with the same type and rating.
- Check inlet connections: Ensure the wires from the power inlet to the main control board are secure and not burned.
- Board diagnosis: If the fuse and wiring are good but there is still no sign of life, the main control board's power supply is likely failed and the board should be replaced.
