Basket is difficult to insert or remove; unit may not detect basket properly.

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool before working near the basket area.

• Inspect rails and tracks: Remove the basket and check the side rails and bottom tracks for bent metal, warping, or stuck debris. Clean thoroughly.
• Straighten minor bends: Carefully straighten slightly bent rails with padded pliers. Do not over‑bend.
• Check latch engagement: Insert the basket and verify that the latch tab fully engages the microswitch actuator. Adjust the latch bracket if possible.
• Replace basket assembly: If the basket frame is warped or cracked, replace the entire basket/drawer assembly.
• Replace latch mechanism: If the latch does not spring back or feels loose, replace the latch assembly.
