How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before removing the control panel or covers.
- Reset the unit: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in. If E7 clears temporarily but returns, proceed with inspection.
- Access control panel: Remove the screws securing the front control panel. Carefully lift it to expose the ribbon cable or harness connecting it to the main control board.
- Reseat connectors: Gently unplug the ribbon cable or harness, inspect for bent pins or corrosion, then firmly reconnect. Ensure the cable is not pinched when reassembling.
- Inspect for moisture: Look for signs of liquid ingress around the control panel. If the UI board shows corrosion, it should be replaced.
- Board replacement: If reseating cables does not resolve E7, replace the user interface board first. If the error persists, replace the main control board.
