Possible Causes
Partially open heating element, Weak connection at heater terminals, Failed heater relay on PCB, High‑limit thermostat stuck open
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug and allow to cool before opening.
- Confirm symptom: Run the fryer empty for 5 minutes at maximum temperature. If the interior stays cool and only the fan runs, the heater circuit is at fault.
- Check thermostat: Access the heater assembly and test the high‑limit thermostat for continuity. Replace if open.
- Inspect heater terminals: Tighten any loose spade connectors and clean off oxidation. Re‑test heating.
- Measure heater resistance: If resistance is significantly higher than spec or intermittent when you wiggle the terminals, replace the heating element assembly.
- Relay/PCB: If the heater and thermostat are good, the heater relay on the main PCB may not be switching. Replace the main control PCB.
