Aggressive cleaning with wet cloths or sprays, Steam from cooking directed at panel, Damaged control panel seal, High ambient humidity
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug immediately if moisture is seen near electrical parts.
- Drying: Leave the unit unplugged in a warm, dry room for 24–48 hours. Do not use a hairdryer directly on the panel.
- Inspect seals: Remove the fascia and check the rubber or foam gasket around the control panel. Replace if torn or compressed.
- Cleaning practice: In future, wipe the exterior with a slightly damp cloth only; never spray cleaner directly onto the control panel.
- Board check: If corrosion is visible on the UI board, clean with isopropyl alcohol. Replace the board if tracks are damaged.
