Possible Causes
Broken drawer latch, Worn interlock sensor, Deformed front housing preventing full closure, Loose interlock wiring to PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before inspection.
- Check latch: Inspect the drawer latch and mating hook in the body. Replace the drawer if the latch is cracked or missing.
- Test interlock: Locate the interlock sensor (microswitch or magnetic reed switch) and test continuity when the drawer is fully inserted. Replace if it does not change state.
- Housing alignment: Ensure the front panel is not warped or loose. Tighten mounting screws and adjust as needed so the drawer seats squarely.
- Wiring: Verify the interlock wires are firmly connected to the PCB and not damaged.
