Air fryer does not power on at all; no lights or display when plugged in.

Safety first: Unplug the Klarstein air fryer. Do not attempt repairs if you are not comfortable working with mains-voltage appliances.

Steps:

• 1. Check outlet and cord: Test the wall outlet with another device. Inspect the power cord for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, replace it with a compatible Klarstein power cord assembly.
• 2. Access internal fuse: Remove the housing screws and carefully open the unit to expose the main control board. Look for a small glass or ceramic fuse near the mains input.
• 3. Test and replace fuse: Remove the fuse and test continuity with a multimeter. If open, replace it with the same type and rating. If the new fuse blows immediately, there is a deeper fault (shorted component) that must be diagnosed.
• 4. Inspect mains connector and wiring: Ensure the mains wires are firmly attached to the board and any terminal blocks. Tighten loose connections and replace burned connectors.
• 5. Check power supply section: If the fuse is good but there is still no power, the low-voltage power supply on the control board may have failed. Look for burned components. In most cases, replace the entire control board.
• 6. Reassemble and test: After replacing any parts, reassemble the housing, plug in, and check for display illumination.

Warning: If the fuse continues to blow, stop and consult a professional; repeated replacement without finding the cause is dangerous.
