Air fryer fan does not run; unit may heat but there is little or no air circulation and uneven cooking.

Safety first: Unplug the Klarstein air fryer and allow it to cool before accessing the fan.

Steps:

• 1. Confirm fan failure: During a test cycle, listen for fan noise and feel for air at the exhaust. If silent and no airflow, proceed.
• 2. Access fan assembly: Remove the housing and heater shroud to expose the fan blades and motor.
• 3. Check for obstructions: Remove any food debris or warped plastic blocking the fan. Ensure the blades spin freely by hand.
• 4. Test motor: Disconnect the fan motor connector and measure resistance across the motor terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Replace the fan motor with a compatible Klarstein part.
• 5. Inspect wiring and board: Ensure the fan harness is firmly connected to the control board. If the motor is good but does not receive voltage during operation, the fan driver circuit on the board may be faulty; replace the control board.
• 6. Reassemble and test: Refit the shroud and housing. Run a test cycle and confirm normal fan operation and airflow.

Warning: Do not operate the fryer without a working fan; this can cause severe overheating.
