• 2. Locate detection sensor: On models with rotisserie, look for a small switch or magnetic sensor near the rotisserie drive socket. For grill plates, there may be a microswitch under the plate support.
• 3. Test the sensor: With the unit unplugged, access the sensor and test continuity while engaging it with the accessory or a magnet (for reed/Hall sensors). Replace the sensor if it does not change state.
• 4. Inspect wiring: Check the harness from the sensor to the control board for damage or loose connectors. Repair or replace as needed.
• 5. Control board input: If the sensor and wiring are good, the accessory detection input on the control board may be faulty. Replace the main control PCB if E15 persists.
• 6. Reassemble and test: Refit covers, plug in, and test the specific accessory mode to confirm that E15 is cleared.
