Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse, Faulty mains power cord, Failed mains filter board, Defective main control PCB power supply section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Verify the wall socket works with another appliance before opening the air fryer. Then unplug the fryer.
- Check external items: Inspect the mains plug and cord for visible damage. Replace the cord set if the insulation is cut or the plug is loose.
- Access internal fuse: Remove the bottom or rear cover to locate any inline or PCB-mounted fuses near the mains entry.
- Test and replace fuse: Use a multimeter to check continuity. If blown, replace only with the same type and rating. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault.
- Inspect mains filter: Look for burnt components or cracked solder joints on the small input board. Replace the mains filter board if damaged.
- Control board power: If the fuse and filter are good, the main PCB's power supply may have failed. Replace the main control PCB as a complete unit.
Warning: Never bypass or wrap a fuse with foil. This removes critical protection and can cause fire.
