Possible Causes
Basket not fully inserted, Faulty basket safety microswitch, Misaligned drawer rails, Control board logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect from mains before mechanical adjustments.
- Check basket position: Remove and firmly reinsert the basket until it is flush with the front and you feel it latch.
- Inspect rails and guides: Look for bent metal or plastic guides that prevent full insertion. Straighten gently or replace the drawer if warped.
- Test safety switch: Access the basket detection switch and test continuity when the drawer is fully inserted. Replace the switch if it does not change state.
- Control reset: After mechanical checks, unplug for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect and attempt to start a simple manual cook program.
- Board replacement: If the switch is working but the unit still refuses to start, the main PCB may not be reading the input and should be replaced.
Warning: Never defeat the safety switch to run the unit with the basket removed.
