Exterior of the air fryer becomes excessively hot to touch during normal operation.

Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool fully before opening.

• Check ventilation and usage: Ensure adequate clearance around the unit and avoid running multiple high-temperature cycles back-to-back without cool-down.
• Inspect heat shields: Remove the cover and verify that metal heat shields around the heater and fan are correctly positioned and secured.
• Check insulation: Look for missing or burnt insulation pads between the heater compartment and outer cabinet. Replace any damaged insulation with heat-rated material specified for the model.
• Clean vents: Clear any dust or grease from vents to improve cooling airflow.

Warning: Some warmth is normal, but surfaces should not be dangerously hot. If plastic parts show signs of warping or discoloration, discontinue use until repaired.
