Possible Causes
Temperature sensor reading high after cycle, Control board firmware behavior, Sticking relay or triac, Poor ventilation causing slow cool-down
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: This symptom is usually not dangerous, but unplug the unit if the fan runs indefinitely.
- Allow full cool-down: Ensure the unit has space around it to cool. Some models intentionally run the fan after cooking to protect components.
- Check sensor placement: If the fan never stops, inspect the NTC sensor for correct placement and ensure it is not touching the heater.
- Control reset: Unplug for 10 minutes to reset the control board, then test again.
- Board replacement: If the fan runs continuously even when the unit is cold, the control board's fan driver may be stuck on and the PCB should be replaced.
Warning: Do not disconnect internal fan wiring to stop the noise; this fan may be required for safe operation.
