Possible Causes
High-moisture foods cooked without ventilation, Blocked steam vents, Door gasket not sealing properly, Operating under cold cabinets causing condensation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Steam can cause burns. Open the door carefully away from your face.
Steps to reduce condensation:
- Check vents: Ensure steam vents on the top or rear are not blocked by walls, cabinets, or objects.
- Adjust cooking method: For very moist foods, reduce temperature slightly and extend time, or open the basket briefly mid-cook to release steam.
- Inspect gasket: Check the door gasket for gaps or damage that could allow steam to escape toward the control panel. Replace if needed.
- Placement: Avoid placing the air fryer directly under low cabinets where steam can condense and drip.
Note: Some steam is normal, but heavy condensation on electronics should be addressed to prevent long-term damage.
