Possible Causes
Partially failed heating element, Weak mains voltage, Faulty temperature sensor reading too high, Fan not circulating air properly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before internal checks.
- Step 1 – Compare with another outlet: Try the air fryer on a different circuit to rule out low voltage.
- Step 2 – Check fan performance: Ensure strong airflow from exhaust vents during operation. If airflow is weak, inspect and clean the fan and vents.
- Step 3 – Heater test: Measure heater resistance and compare to specifications. A significantly higher resistance than normal can indicate a weakened element; replace if out of range.
- Step 4 – Sensor calibration: If available, use an oven thermometer inside the basket to compare actual temperature to the set value. If readings are far off, the NTC sensor or PCB may be misreading and should be replaced.
