• Step 2 – Inspect PCB connections: Remove the housing and check that the mains input wires are firmly screwed or clipped into the PCB terminals.
• Step 3 – Look for heat damage: Examine the area around the large capacitors and transformer (if present) for discoloration or bulging capacitors. Any bulging or leaking capacitor indicates a failing board.
• Step 4 – Cooling: Ensure ventilation slots around the control area are not blocked by grease or dust. Clean gently with a dry brush.
• Step 5 – Replace PCB: If E12 persists, replace the main control board; component‑level repair is not recommended for most users.
