• Remove and inspect: Carefully remove the basket and pan. Inspect the side rails and bottom guides for burnt food or grease buildup; clean thoroughly.
• Check for warping: Place the basket and pan on a flat surface to see if they rock or appear twisted. Replace warped components.
• Inspect latch: Look at the front latch and any locking tabs. If broken or deformed, replace the basket assembly or latch parts as supplied by Morphy Richards.
• Lubrication: Do not use oil‑based lubricants inside the cooking area. If absolutely necessary, a tiny amount of food‑safe, high‑temperature lubricant can be applied to metal‑on‑metal slide points away from the food zone.
