E7 appears and the air fryer will not start; sometimes accompanied by a continuous beeping.

Safety first: Disconnect from mains before opening the housing.

• Check basket fit: Remove and reinsert the basket/drawer firmly until it clicks. Ensure no food residue or warped plastic prevents full insertion.
• Inspect switch actuator: Look at the area where the basket slides in; locate the plastic tab that presses the internal microswitch. If bent or broken, the switch will not engage. Replace the basket frame or actuator piece as needed.
• Test the microswitch: Access the side or bottom panel to reach the door/basket switch. With a multimeter on continuity, operate the switch by hand. It should open and close reliably. Replace the switch if intermittent or stuck.
• Check wiring: Ensure the switch wires are firmly connected to the main PCB and not broken or pinched.
• Reassemble and test: After replacing or adjusting parts, reassemble fully and test with the basket inserted.
