Possible Causes
Unit still hot from previous cycle, Faulty NTC sensor reading high at room temperature, Blocked cooling vents around control panel, Stuck heater relay
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the unit is on a heat‑resistant surface with good airflow.
- Allow cooling: Leave the air fryer unplugged with the basket removed for 30–45 minutes, then try again. H1 often clears once internal temperature drops.
- Check vents: Make sure the top and rear vents are not blocked by cabinets or walls. Clean any dust buildup with a soft brush.
- Sensor verification: If H1 appears even when the unit is cold, test the cabinet NTC sensor resistance at room temperature. Replace if it reads abnormally low (indicating falsely high temperature).
- Heater relay check: If the heater energizes immediately at power‑on without a program selected, the relay may be stuck closed, causing rapid overheating. Replace the main control PCB and do not use the unit until repaired.
