Possible Causes
Worn relay contacts on main PCB, Cracked solder joints, Overheated PCB traces, Loose connectors to heater and fan
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before opening the housing.
- Recreate fault: Gently tap the side of the unit during operation (with all covers on) to see if the heater/fan cut in and out, indicating a loose connection.
- Inspect PCB: Remove the control board and examine the solder joints on the heater and fan relays. Resolder any cracked joints if you are competent with soldering.
- Check connectors: Ensure all spade and plug connectors to the heater and fan are tight.
- Replace PCB: If relays are heat‑discolored or contacts are worn, replace the main control PCB rather than attempting relay‑only replacement unless you have advanced skills.
