Air fryer does not power on at all; no lights, no display, no response to buttons.

Safety first: Unplug the air fryer before any inspection. Mains voltage is dangerous.

• Step 1 – External checks: Confirm the outlet works by testing another appliance. Check that any power strip or surge protector is switched on. Inspect the Moulinex power cord for visible damage.
• Step 2 – Try another outlet: Plug the fryer directly into a known-good wall outlet, avoiding extension cords.
• Step 3 – Access internal fuse: Remove the rear or bottom cover to locate the mains filter board or fuse holder. Look for a glass or ceramic fuse in series with the line input.
• Step 4 – Test/replace fuse: Remove the fuse and test continuity with a multimeter. If blown, replace only with the same type and rating (e.g., T6.3A 250V slow-blow) specified for your Moulinex model. If it blows again immediately, there is a deeper fault and the unit should be serviced professionally.
• Step 5 – Inspect PCB: If the fuse is intact, inspect the main PCB for burnt components in the power supply section. Replace the main control board if damaged.
