Steam or smoke escapes excessively from the sides or front of the basket area.

Safety first: Hot steam can cause burns. Keep hands and face away from escaping steam.

• Step 1 – Clean sealing surfaces: Wipe the rim of the basket and the mating surface inside the unit to remove grease and crumbs.
• Step 2 – Check for warping: Inspect the basket rim for bends or warping. Replace if significantly deformed.
• Step 3 – Inspect gasket (if present): Some models have a silicone or rubber gasket. Check for tears, hardening, or missing sections and replace if damaged.
• Step 4 – Ensure full insertion: Push the basket firmly until it clicks and sits flush with the front panel.
