• Tighten hardware (advanced): With the top cover removed, check the fan mounting nut or screws on the motor shaft. Tighten carefully if loose.
• Spin test: Rotate the fan by hand. If you feel roughness, grinding, or excessive play, the motor bearings are worn.
• Replace motor: Replace the Nuwave convection fan motor assembly if noise persists after cleaning and tightening.

Note: A slight whooshing sound is normal, but metallic grinding or rattling indicates a mechanical issue that should be corrected to avoid further damage.
