Nuwave
Post-Cool Fan Operation (Perceived Fault)
Nuwave air fryer runs the fan after the cooking cycle ends and will not shut off immediately.

Possible Causes
Normal cool-down feature, high internal temperature requiring extended fan run, control board programmed delay
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Explanation and checks:
- Normal behavior: Many Nuwave models keep the fan running for a short period after cooking to cool internal components. This is by design.
- Time the delay: Observe how long the fan runs after the cycle ends. A delay of 1–5 minutes is typically normal.
- Manual shutdown: If desired, you can unplug the unit after the fan stops. Do not unplug while the fan is still running unless necessary.
- Abnormal behavior: If the fan runs indefinitely (over 10–15 minutes) or restarts randomly, there may be a control fault; in that case, inspect the main control board.
Note: This behavior is usually not a fault and does not require repair.
