Possible Causes
Burned-out light bulb or LED module, Loose light wiring connector, Failed light driver circuit on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the fryer and allow it to cool before accessing the light assembly.
- Check settings: Some models allow turning the light on/off separately. Verify it is enabled.
- Access light housing: Remove the interior light cover (usually held by clips or a screw). Inspect the bulb or LED module.
- Replace bulb/module: If the bulb filament is broken or the LED is visibly damaged, replace with an Oster-specified replacement.
- Inspect wiring (advanced): Access the rear of the light assembly from the outside and check the connector. Reseat or repair as needed.
- Control board: If the light still does not work and power is not reaching it, the light driver on the control board may be faulty, requiring board replacement.
